SprintRay’s Next-Gen Materials and Multi-Material Printing to Break Cover at 2025 Chicago Midwinter Meeting and Lab Day

In News by SprintRay

Furthering our mission to push the boundaries of digital dentistry with leading-edge innovations are the following line-up of products set to be unveiled at the 2025 Chicago Midwinter Meeting and Lab Day.

Our latest Digital Print and Digital Press product line advancements include a next-gen sports guard and restorative materials. As if that wasn’t enough, we’re also expanding our Digital Print portfolio with new accessory kits designed for faster production speeds and multi-material printing. The new product offerings represent a significant leap forward in dental 3D printing technology.

Digital Press: Expanding Material Capabilities

To build upon 2024’s groundbreaking launch of Midas—the world’s first digital restoration press—we’re introducing two pioneering materials for the Digital Press line. The new resins leverage Digital Press Stereolithography to offer no-mess, no-training fabrication with previously unprintable highly viscous materials.

  • Digital Temp: An FDA 510(k) cleared ceramic-filled material utilizing proprietary NanoFusion™ technology, Digital Temp delivers superior fit and aesthetics for temporary full crown restorations, inlays or onlays. Its exceptional fracture toughness sets a new standard for temporary restorations.SprintRay’s digital temp Next-Gen Materials and Multi-Material Printing

  • Crown HT (high-translucency): This first-of-its-kind material features over 60% ceramic filler, providing unprecedented light diffusion that replicates natural tooth aesthetics. Ideal for definitive crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers, Crown HT mirrors the mechanical performance of surrounding dentition, resulting in lasting, functional restoration.

Digital Print Advancements

Our Digital Print line will also expand with two new materials:

  • Digital Temp: This ceramic-filled material leverages NanoFusion™ technology for superior temporary restorations. FDA 510(k) cleared for 3D printing full and partial temporary crowns and bridges.SprintRay’s digital temp A1 Next-Gen Materials and Multi-Material Printing

  • SportsGuard: A specialized material designed for custom athletic mouthguards, featuring 250% elongation at break and impact absorption comparable to conventional EVA materials. Engineered to meet or exceed ADA specifications for impact absorption, rebound, tear strength, and Shore A hardness.

These additions join our growing library of biocompatible materials from the BioMaterial Innovation Lab, spanning applications from dentures to night guards, surgical guides to full-arch hybrids, and more.

Innovative Hardware Solutions

We’re also set to debut groundbreaking accessory kits for Pro 2 that will expand its speed, throughput, and efficiency:

  • Arch Kit: A compact solution optimized for single-patient applications, delivering industry-leading speed for small-batch production, ideal for hybrid dentures and other high-speed/low-volume restorations.
  • Duo Kit: A patent-pending innovation allowing simultaneous printing of two different resins, unlocking a remarkable speed boost for appliances such as dentures, where both the teeth and base can be print.
