It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of 3D printing. High-speed, accurate manufacturing for dental clinics is a huge step forward, and it’s one that SprintRay is excited to be a part of. But there hasn’t been much independent evaluation of quality of outcomes relative to conventional methods.
While our internal research has concluded that 3D printing is an extremely accurate way to produce models and dental appliances, we’re excited to announce that our findings have been corroborated by a recently-published paper from Tufts University. The study concluded that, “…3D printing models with the MoonRay S 3D printer has a higher RMS dimensional accuracy than conventional fabrication.”
