Warehouse Associate

SprintRay is looking for a Warehouse Associate to help keep production moving. The ideal candidate must be dependable, energetic, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the desire and ability to learn new skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack and ship daily orders
• Replenish picking locations as needed
• Cycle count inventory
• Pallet assembly with products to ship
• Loading small and large parcels and pallets
• Record all returned shipments and breakdown according to the returns process
• Data entry into ERP system
• Freight Classification for LTL and FTL shipments
• Maintain neat and orderly workspace
• Use of ERP for inputs and outputs
• Sort, count and palletize incoming freight
• Data entry into a warehouse management system for receiving
• Scan product to and from locations
• Work independently with a sense of urgency and purpose
• Make decisions based on quantity of work and required finishing time to meet shipment deadlines
• Calculate freight quotes for both domestic and international orders
• Filling BOL’s, SLI’s, EEI’s and Nafta certificates for international shipments
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Key Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of previous work experience, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment
• High School Diploma required
• Experience with all carriers UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Stamps.com
• Experience with pick and pack items to ship domestic and internationally with carrier’s standards
• Experience using ERP systems and following best practice to ensure inventory is tracked correctly
• Experience with warehouse equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift certified
• Excellent communication both verbal and written
• Ability to follow instructions
• Detail oriented
• Must be a team player
   
• Stand, bend, stoop, and lift for 8 hour shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
• Maximum unassisted lift 50 lbs., average lift, less than 20 lbs.
• Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor, scanner and calculator
• Requires the ability to communicate verbally
• Requires use of warehouse equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, sit down forklift and reach truck
• Work overtime as required

 

The salary band that this position falls into ranges from $16 to $25 per hour, with some differences for locations outside of California. SprintRay uses broad banding. Actual salary is based on position, market factors, location, experience, and qualifications.
