Midas Restore™

Image
A definitive restorative resin engineered to replace natural tooth structure — holding its polish, resisting wear, and working with the tooth it's bonded to rather than against it.
Image

Printed, with the wear resistance of a milled restoration.

SprintRay Midas Restore™ is a definitive restorative resin filled to more than 75% by weight with glass ceramic and zirconia — engineered for full-coverage crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers. It holds 98% of its polish after 5,000 brushing cycles, resists wear five times better than SprintRay Ceramic Crown, and matches the translucency range of milled lithium disilicate. Scan, press, polish, deliver — in a single visit.

INDICATED FOR

Definitive full single crowns, definitive partial crowns (inlays and onlays) in the anterior and posterior, and single veneers.

Unbelievable Aesthetics

A 13.5 translucency parameter — across five shades. Ready for anterior work, not just posterior crowns.

Built to keep looking new

Holds its anatomy under function, and holds its polish — no glaze to chip or wear away.

Fast and easy workflow

Four-minute post-cure. Two wheels, two minutes. Polish to final and deliver same visit.

Deliver with confidence

FDA-cleared for definitive restorations. Radiopaque. More than 75% glass ceramic and zirconia.

The numbers, in context.

Midas Restore is a definitive restorative resin engineered to behave like the tooth it replaces. Filled to more than 75% with glass ceramic and zirconia, it delivers the wear resistance of a milled hybrid ceramic, hardness on par with a leading direct composite, and enamel-like translucency — while flexing with the tooth it's bonded to rather than against it. Polish to final in a minute.

Biaxial Flexural Strength

Measures how much force a dental material withstands before fracturing under load
Midas Restore (215 MPa)
Ceramic Crown (170 MPa)
Nanofilled Direct Composite (160 MPa)

Wear Resistance

Measures how well a dental material resists loss of surface and shape over years of function - Tested after 200k Cycles
Midas Restore (5x)
Milled Hybrid Ceramic (5x)
Ceramic Crown (1x)

Flexural Modulus

Measures how much a dental material flexes under load — its stiffness relative to natural tooth structure
Midas Restore (10.5 GPa)
Nanofilled Direct Composite (12 GPa)
Ceramic Crown (6 GPa)

Translucency Parameter

Measures how much light passes through a dental material and scatters, influencing its optical appearance
Midas Restore (13.5 TP)
Crown HT (13.1 TP)
Milled Lithium Disilicate (13.9 TP)

Hardness

Measures a dental material's resistance to surface indentation and abrasion — the property behind lasting polish and wear resistance
Midas Restore (82 HV)
Nanofilled Direct Composite (87 HV)
Ceramic Crown (25 HV)
Biaxial flexural strength per ISO 6872, piston-on-three-balls; maximum value shown. Wear tested over 200,000 cycles on specimens; no ISO standard exists for this method. Gloss retention by simulated toothbrush abrasion in water. Translucency shown for shade A1; other shades may vary.

You can't print this material.
You have to press it.

See Midas

Midas Restore is more than 75% filler by weight — too viscous to flow, self-level, or sit in a vat. So Midas doesn't print it. Digital Press Stereolithography, SprintRay's patented DPS, holds the material in a pressurized chamber and dispenses it directly into the build area, where hydrodynamic force raises the build platform as UV cures each layer. Pressure does what gravity and flow do everywhere else.

Image

Load

A sealed capsule holds a material too viscous to pour, level, or hold in a tank.

Image

Press

A piston drives it under force through the channels of the capsule and into the restoration geometry.

Image

Finish

Remove the supports, clean and post-cure for four minutes, then polish to final with two wheels. Deliver.

ZERO

VISCOSITY LIMITS

Every other chairside system in dentistry either mills a pre-sintered block or prints a low-viscosity resin. Midas is the only one that presses.
