Materials Program Manager

        Materials Operations   

Location: Huntington Beach

SprintRay is looking for a Program Manager for our growing Materials R&D team. If you are someone that enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment then this could be a great opportunity for you! This role will be working in a brand new location in Huntington Beach.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishes strategic objectives by overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.  Effectively manage materials programs end to end, including working collaboratively with R&D, product management, Marketing and Supply-Chain teams.  
  • Achieves program objectives by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing progress against the plan, metrics and track related key performance indicators. 
  • Assign roles and responsibility for program objectives as well as implement processes for effective execution of the plan 
  • Lead risk assessment process and execution, and determine effective risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
  • Act as a team facilitator for team meetings embracing and implementing agile methodologies  
  • Implement and manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships to provide business insight on program deliverables, risk management, corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop and implement capability building programs for continual improvement and effectiveness of program management
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries, and develop effective internal and external communication materials
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Support special projects with partners, suppliers, and internal to support business growth
  • Support the business leader in meeting financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Follow up, research and implementation of global materials needs, taking into consideration regulations, standards, literature, and guidance regarding to deliver business growth 
  • Develop and maintain raw materials risk management system
  • Prepare and communicate critical Materials updates on weekly basis; maintain executive reports and summaries, providing accurate and timely data to leadership on a weekly basis.

Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to work on-site in Huntington Beach or Los Angeles at least 3 days a week. 
  • Must have 10 years of experience.  Will consider a Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience. 
  • Intermediate user with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with Agile methodologies for program management
  • Lean and Six Sigma Training and/or Certification desired
  • Experience leading and support prime proposal efforts
  • Expert excel ability including pivot tables, macros, and VBA
  • Strong Program and Budget Management skills
  • Material Program Management and/or Supply Chain Management experience working in dental or healthcare industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required.
  • International experience and Mandarin language skills are a plus.

 

 

The salary band that this position falls into ranges from $100,000.00 to $162,000.00, with some differences for locations outside of California. SprintRay uses broad banding. Actual salary is based on position, market factors, location, experience, and qualifications.
